Friday, 30 October 2015

Kelly Shields from Omagh takes part in blood cancer charity, Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI’s year-long ‪#‎99RedBalloons‬ campaign at the Ulster American Folk Park.
Kelly’s husband Daryl was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia in 2013 at the age of just 33, and has been receiving treatment since.
So far, Kelly has raised £2,686 for the charity, including doing a Moonlight Walk up Slieve Donard and a zipline across the River Lagan.

Each month the charity visits iconic locations around the province to mark the 99 people who are diagnosed with a blood cancer such as leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma every month in Northern Ireland. To donate to the charity, text BALL06 £5 to 70070.
